- AI can be helpful but imperfect. Treat scores and feedback as estimates. If a result looks wrong, contact us at support@band9ai.com or request a human review if available.
- Scores are approximate. Speaking and writing grading use Mistral-based models plus heuristics; listening/reading are algorithmic based on keys.
- Edge cases, accents, audio quality, or unusual responses may reduce accuracy (e.g., ASR and LLM limitations).
- If something looks off, please report it to support@band9ai.com.
- Plans: 1-slot and 3-slot IELTS-style mock tests. Current display prices on site: $19.99 and $29.99 USD.
- Payment processor: Stripe. After successful payment, we email access passcodes to the provided email.

- What we collect: names you enter for login, test answers, uploaded audio, transcripts, grading results, and basic session data.
- Why: to generate tests, grade performance, provide feedback, and operate the service (including emailing access codes).
- Storage: JSON results in app folders like
test_history,grading_results, and audio instatic/audio; passcodes in a MySQL database. - Retention: listening audio older than ~7 days may be cleaned automatically; other data retention: [PLACEHOLDER: retention_period].

- Mistral AI: model calls for generating content and grading (may process prompts, answers, and transcripts).
- Microsoft Edge TTS (edge-tts): generates spoken prompts/audio from text.
- Google Speech Recognition (via SpeechRecognition): converts user audio to text for speaking tests.
- Zoho SMTP (Flask-Mail config): sends passcode emails.
- Don’t cheat, scrape, resell keys, automate abuse, or misrepresent results. One account per individual. We may suspend for abuse.
- Content is synthetic for practice; real-world references are illustrative only.
- Audio is paired with text prompts; transcripts are produced for voice responses. If you need accommodations (e.g., captions or timing adjustments), email support@band9ai.com.
